Providing speech and language assessment and therapy for children aged 0-12 years old. We are located in Wantirna South, in the outer-eastern suburbs of Melbourne.
Early Language Development
‘Late talkers’ and young children who are having difficulties using language to express their everyday needs.
Difficulties with making friends, keeping friends and negotiating more complex peer social situations. Children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder can typically demonstrate difficulties in this area.
Early Social Communications
Pragmatic skills, such as joint attention, eye contact, sharing and taking turns.
Articulations and Phonology
Difficulties with pronouncing particular sounds, or with other people understanding what your child is saying.
Drooling, difficulties with chewing, chronic mouth breathing.
Repeating sounds, words or phrases when talking or elongating sounds when trying to say a sentence.
Difficulties with putting sentences together, using a wide range of vocabulary, understanding language, understanding instructions, using past tense forms, using pronouns e.g. ‘he/him, she/her’.

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist
I’m the Director of Little Parrots and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over 20 years of experience. I have worked in a wide range of settings over my career, including community health services, department of education, early childhood intervention services and private practice.
I have a passion for working with children with complex needs and for using a family-based approach when working together with families to obtain outcomes for their children.
