Providing speech and language assessment, therapy and support for children aged 0-12 years old and their families. We are located in Wantirna South, in the outer-eastern suburbs of Melbourne (Naarm).

Early Communication

Young children who are having difficulties using language to express their everyday needs such as using verbal language, joint attention, sharing and taking turns.

Social Skills/ Pragmatics

Making and keeping friendships, negotiating complex peer social situations such as conflicts, and understanding broader social expectations such as turn taking, conversations, and greetings.

Articulation and Phonology

Saying speech sounds, e.g., ‘l’ sound, unclear or ‘mumbled’ speech in conversation, or if other people have difficulties understanding your child’s speech.

Oro-motor Functioning

Drooling/ dribbling beyond the expected age, difficulties with chewing or eating, or frequently having mouth open or tongue out when relaxed.

Stuttering

Repeating sounds, words or phrases when talking or elongating sounds when trying to say a sentence.

Language

Putting sentences together, using a wide range of vocabulary, understanding language, following instructions, talking about past events, and using describing words.

Hello! I’m Robyn

Certified Practising Speech Pathologist

I’m the owner of Little Parrots and a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist with over 22 years of experience in the field of speech pathology. I have worked in a wide range of settings over my career, including community health services, department of education, early childhood intervention services and private practice.

I have a passion for working with children with complex needs and for using a family-based approach when working together with families to obtain positive outcomes for their children.
